The list of promotions is divided into 2 parts (2 tabs) – actual and expired.
The administrator can create new promotions, edit and delete existing ones.
Promotions Table Overview
The Promotions table contains detailed information about promotions, including the following:
- Promo Code: Include a unique alphanumeric code associated with the promo code.
- Description: A concise summary of the features and benefits included in this promo code.
- Start Date: The date when the promotion becomes active.
- End Date: The date when the promotion expires.
- Trial Period: The duration of the free trial period associated with the promotion (if applicable).
- Discount Percent: The percentage discount offered by the promotion.
- Discount Value: The fixed discount amount offered by the promotion (if applicable).
- Discount Period: The duration of the discount period (e.g., one month, three months).
- Subscriptions: A list of subscriptions that this promotion applies to.
Important! You should not edit promotions that have already been used by users.

Promotions users can apply:
- on the registration page
- on the payment page for subscriptions and/or addons
- in the user profile in the User Groups section
Opportunities that the promotion can provide users with:
- discount (both for the entire amount and only for specific groups of privileges)
- changing the duration of the trial period upon registration
- changing the privilege group as a trial subscription
- including a user in a group and assigning him a “sponsor” subscription
When promo is applied during registration we should apply the following options (if specified):
- Trial-period length
- Subscription group
- User group
- We also should notify user in case this promo is only has discount option and only valid for checkout: “This promo code can only be applied during checkout”
When promo is applied on the checkout page:
- Discounts
- User group
- We should notify user in case the promo does not contain any discounts and has no user group specified: “This promo can only be applied during sign up.”
Possible combinations:
- trial duration
- trial group of privileges
- trial duration + trial group of privileges
- sponsorship group of privileges (+ group itself)
- all options described above + discount. In this case, the promotion can be applied both during registration and payment.
The user can use one promotional code only once during payment. If he previously used the same promotional code during registration, then in this case he can use it again when paying.
